About the Trainer:
Rosie Williams has over 1000 hours of training since her initial 650 immersive training back in 2003! She is founder and owner of Yoga Shack BC located in the gorgeous Hazelton’s, northern BC, Canada. She has pioneered and developed the aerial yoga program at Yoga Shack BC from her initial training by a Unnata Aerial Level 2 Trained Teacher that brought her own style into the sessions. The program has since evolved to include a variety of styles including introductory workshops, accessible level one classes, intermediate classes, as well as speciality deluxe and restorative aerial offerings. Rosie shares a teaching style to create safe and supportive sessions with students. Trainees will learn mindful teaching techniques to lead the students to take time in each posture and to relax and create space in the body. The hammock will be used in various ways to support and prop the body throughout class. The trainees will enjoy their own experience in the practical sessions of flowing sequences, deep stretching and plenty of inversions! Practitioners can access and explore the many modalities of mindful movement, through this beautiful practice in aerial silks.
